I haven't found a way to change that. I could probably ask in the forums on the Cosmology or Boinc websites, but it's just as easy to abort the problem task and let things carry on. Error messages can show a task has been postponed for a number of reasons. My experience from crunching QuChemPedIA to restart postponed tasks is to shut down Boinc. Open VirtualBox and make certain all VMs close, that can take a few seconds. Then restart Boinc. I have only just started crunching LHC, but that same procedure has worked for me here when I was crunching Theory tasks.
