Well I've gone back to SETI@Home for the meanwhile. I've lost interest in LHC@Home now I'm afraid.

Huh?

I don't want to take part in multiple projects, what if LHC@Home actually gets some work for about an hour, but I'm too busy in another project then I loose the chance of getting some WU's?

Well I hope Eistein@Home goes up quickly, that interests me and will probably have an enormous amount of work to go threw.

Yes and no. Why did they bring out BOINC when SETI classic had no problems what so ever?

Any idea "when" we will have some then?

My Duron system was just able to download ONE WU, and seems to be processing it well.

Extremely bad performance. 7.5s/TS on my notebook, and 6.5s/TS on my Duron. Other projects my systems to MUCH better than they did on CPDN. I may just start SETI@Home again, as it seems to be the only one I am interested in and actually has work.

....Because I'm just going to quit all BOINC projects at this rate. I have been part of SETI@Home, Predictor@Home, CPDN, and this one. All have played up miserably.

Now my question is:

Will we actually get some work? My PC's are just idle, I could just leave my laptop unplugged off the network if there isn't any.

Both of my systems are saying the same thing, although last night I got some WU's but now I'm skinned again.

I think the tunescan WU's have 1,000,000 turns, while the lhcpro have 100,000. Some one please correct me if I am wrong!

Title basically says it all. My notebook has done 3 tunescan WU's today and is totally zooming threw them (no errors, just doing them extremely quickly) and I'm getting something like 1-3 credit for them. I check the graphics and there 1,000,000 turns, but the turns it is doing is VERY fast, much faster than this system I have now which is an AMD Duron.

My notebook has a mobile AMD Athlon XP 1900+, and is about 1 and a half years old.

Thanks in advance.
