Cant get any wus last 4 days :(

hey, be optimistic.
there are 40k tasks are executing right now for 9k users, so you possibly would have 5 tasks in average.

I saw 90 unsent wus at status page but no wus downlaod. boinc log like this.

11/10/2015 05:00:49 | LHC@home 1.0 | Sending scheduler request: To fetch work.
11/10/2015 05:00:49 | LHC@home 1.0 | Requesting new tasks for CPU
11/10/2015 05:00:51 | LHC@home 1.0 | Scheduler request completed: got 0 new tasks
11/10/2015 05:00:51 | LHC@home 1.0 | Project has no tasks available

There is some delay in actual status refresh.
We did a lot during upgrade stage, so hope more to come. You always could do Virtual@LHC which is Virtual Box based tasks cruncher. Just download big package

I have currently running this project and its all fine except one thing
upload data amount
here is monthly report
address download upload total
cern.ch 6.58 GB (1.5 %) 25.9 GB (29 %) 32.5 GB (6.1 %)

as you can see it does 29% of my upload traffic and I have either terminate the project or ask you to pack results on client side if possible?
And these numbers are only for small amount of tasks we've executed recently
Could compressing data be an option in settings?

I suppose all those years ages ago noone cares about those amounts, but why the difference disbalance between incoming data and outcoming data is so huge?
Anyway I think some action either on project side or whole boinc side could be done to pursue the balance and minimise traffic.

New tasks?
Shed some light on us, we are starving

How can you be "starving" when you participate in 21 Projects. I'm doing work for 4 and I always have enough work to keep busy. Granted, it's not always LHC Tasks but I just keep crunching away.

LHC Tasks tend to be feast or famine. It's the nature of the work they are doing for the LHC.

all boinc projects are ranged for me and LHC is one of top ones.

my wife is a physicist,LHC takes priority..but until GPU is available it will be doing SETI,CPU doing LHC(if they ever get more tasks up) :) as you can see by my results...

oh it definitely will be more tasks - this project is about beam focusing and at least Atlas and vLHCathome projects you might be interested too

possible to use GPU to process LHC@home tasks? my crossfired 290x's are being used for SETI atm but id rather concentrate on LHC if possible.thanks

So you don't want talk to aliens any time soon?

Some very strange though like this

Have bunch of inconclusives last days. Most of them PNI. Same tasks performed on SSE2 by others successfully completed. All desktops represented once as I see - so no issue with hosts, issue with tasks itself it seems.

check that you have enough space
check there are no other cpu-consuming tasks
after Eric replied to you you might also reset project, reinstall BOINC, etc.

new host generates inconclusives, mostly 2-10 seconds

Grubix and this is yours

lets see what could we do about it

to get about ~150 WUs and to ensure workload for an entire week

why would you need that many? if router fails you will see it in day or two, not a week I guess?
If units failed due to timeout you put other users job in waste bin as they lost their already executed tasks due to your timeout I think. Admins, correct me if it's not like that.

Eric
so users do crunch x86 on their 64-bit PC right? isn't it possible incompatibility point?

here are more details about that other host with huge number or errors

assuming BOINC client has to be 64-bit and all tasks have all 64-bit too?
or it could do both x86 and 64-bit?
