as shown in screensaver graphics they will calculate 1000000 turns. others were probably 100000 turn WU's.

So if I run 20 pc's at the same time I might get 2 days worth?

Makes no sense that I only get 2 little ones on this dual and nothing on the other one and it is telling that one the same thing (also makes no sense)

And of course I have been here 24/7 for a long time now.

I even suspended the Einsteins to switch over for once.

(it looks like it will only take this one pc 4hrs to finish my 2 days worth)

......and the other machine still gets nothin'

I think the server has reduced your daily quota because there are many client errors in your WU's recently.

one of my computers started giving this error while the other connects normally.

01.07.2007 11:36:27|lhcathome|Fetching scheduler list
01.07.2007 11:41:34||Project communication failed: attempting access to reference site
01.07.2007 11:41:36||Access to reference site succeeded - project servers may be temporarily down.
01.07.2007 11:41:38|lhcathome|Deferring communication for 1 days 0 hr 0 min 0 sec
01.07.2007 11:41:38|lhcathome|Reason: 9 consecutive failures fetching scheduler list

then I detached and tried to attach with the same url a couple of times but it failed:

01.07.2007 12:39:02||Fetching configuration file from http://lhcathome.cern.ch/lhcathome/get_project_config.php
01.07.2007 12:44:30||Project communication failed: attempting access to reference site

01.07.2007 12:44:33|lhcathome|Reason: Scheduler list fetch failed: http error

when I use the old url it attaches successfully.

go to "Your account" page and logout. now there is a link at "your account" page to get your account id to your e-mail.

both "results" and "pending credits" pages are on now. for me, just result pages would be enough. thanks anyway :)

i hope that means credit system has been changed from "lowest of first two results" to "middle of three".
(or maybe something like "middle of first three", since new WU's are sent to four users)

it happens on win98 if "Leave applications in memory while preempted?" option in general preferences is set to "yes". if it is set to "no" you may lose computation time in CPDN because it saves data less often. i set it to 'no' and still waiting it to be fixed.

I have one of those WU's :

This one seems to have another problem, still "pending" :
