Why not start the credit calculations at ...say...50, instead of zero. That way you get some credit for running one that crashes into the walls. Afterall, that's good to know....right?
It's not like we can do anything with the credits. I can't cash them in for Linden dollars in Second Life can I?
I would be nice to look at the stats tab and see at least a little bump every couple of weeks.

It is disheartening to wait for weeks, only to get 2 work units that immediately crash into the walls (processing time < 2 sec) and then
find that there are no more WU's to distribute. I guess I'll wait
another month to (maybe) get some work....

[quote]Once again receiving many WU, however with a completion time of 43 minutes or so the work units are being competed anywhere from .81 seconds to 2.2 seconds, with 00.0 credits. Must of had over forty of them within a two hours period. This is on all my machines that are receiving them.

Any ideas what is the cause?

The previous work units a day or two ago gave what I consider normal credits.

Me too. All of them in the last couple of days haved bombed out in about 1 sec.

Assuming you're on some kind of *nix with libxml2 installed:

Nope - I'm on WINDERS. That's my problem. Thanx anyway

OK - where does that file live?
If my machine was an AIX machine with Korn shell, I could just use the
LYNX browser, redirect the output into a file and grep for that string.
Probably all on one command line (separated by &&'s of course)

Is there a Command line interface I could use to periodically scan the LHC@HOME main web page for the absence of a string (such as "Up. Out of Work.)

Well...I still don't know how we're doing.... The answer is somewhere between the word "fine" and a set of graphs. Hmmmm...think Discovery Channel or PBS - Ooo I know - a "white paper". Folks do those all the time...just not here.

Is there some sort of status page/thread/whatever where we can see how we are doing? What the plans are? When the next set of WUs maybe coming out?
Just interested....but there seems to be a lack of info for all the crunchers. I browsed the fora but couldn't find much....

I run E@H and S@H as well as LHC@H. You have not had any workunits for quite some time so my WU queue was full of S@H and E@H WUs. Bang...you send a whole bunch with a short cycle time. Now my machine is "overcommitted" which means it will only work on LHC WUs and no others until they are done. I wanted to share my computer with 3 projects, not devote it all to you whenever you want. Don't do that again.
