it is worth to crunch it, as long as the wu has not been validated (credit being granted).

We're (kind of) back on track: the proposal has been submitted and we are currently working to install boinc 4.x on our brand new servers :-) We have already run into some problems during the compilation of the code since the boinc dev team seemed to have changed quite a bit and we haven't been completely in sync with them lately. But we are confident that we will have the system up and running in a couple of weeks (hopefully less if everything goes smoothly) and that we can make the cut-over from the old to the new servers. We will start out with a new workunits and results table in the database, but all of our user, host and forum data will be kept. Thanks a lot for all of your patience. We hope that not too many people have given up on us!

back in a couple of weeks :-(

the problem is, that I do not have any wus left. it's just pending credits flowing in.

No more wus in my queue, but I am eagerly waiting for the comeback. Should we stay connected (client trying to connect), or should we detach and reattach as soon as you will be online again?

finally I think that the whole team has done a tremendous job during the last weeks. Well done!

In a footnote, I want to aid my wish for a more representative screensaver and a server- and project-status page.
33) Questions and Answers : Wish list : host-number on the results page (Message 4939)

Post:
it would be nice to see directly on the results page (in the overview), to which host (pc) the wus have been sent. this would enable us to see, if any pc is producing bad result, how long the queue is etc. some of us do use hosts that they cannot check every day.
an answer would be greatly appreciated.

Until now, my 100,000 turns-wus took approx. 27 minutes on a athlon64 3400. today i discovered that my short wus (which i believed were unstable) ran the whole number of turns while finishing in less than 5 min.
It was a proeight wu, that you can see here .
