I have a similar problem. I have a nasty reset buton on my case and once in a while it happens to reset my machine, and guess what !! After boot up everything is gone. It's a bad habbit this new boinc software has. It never happend to me before with seti@home classic. The boinc software need some overhauling to compete with the old stuff. Nasty situation. Lot's of work gone and now I have trouble attaching to the projects. Nasty nasty nasty. And messy.
2) Questions and Answers : Sixtrack : is there such thing as lhcqueue (similar to setiqueue) ? (Message 10345)

<blockquote>The BOINC client has a built-in queue functionality that will download a queue of workunits. A lot of it depends on your 'days between connection' setting in your preferences combined with the time estimates that LHC makes about how long it takes a workunit to process.

I suggest you not go overboard with the queue and go hoarding workunits. 2-3 days would be the max I'd suggest. If you go too far, you won't DL any work becuase LHC thinks you won't get back online before the WUs are due in.

HTH!

The problem is that I have some more pc-s I can use but they are on a private network, so I need some kind of a proxy server (like setiqueue) to be able to put those machines to work. And no, I cannot get those machines to have direct access to Internet, because otherwise I would have done so.
So the question still stands.

Thanks.

It would be nice to have a similar program like setiqueue for lhc, and for good reason. Lhc seems to be a little bit poor on other extensions. Does anybody have some useful links ?

Thanks
