Posted 8 Oct 2011 by thierry.l Post: Hi, Got two computers that cannot run LHC anymore because of ERR 168 of new version, -1-, -2-. Of course you may choose to run application only on new quantum computers or to use a larger part of computers in the world. As I can see in applications page : "Microsoft Windows (98 or later) running on an Intel x86-compatible CPU", you choose to run on W98 at least, meaning that you want old computers too. So I think you just have to recompile without this optimization set in order to solve problem or to use computer check's for task distribution. Regards |

Hum ... no necessarily, I was poking the fantastic Z80 chipset of my spectrum when I was 17. I still emulate programs recorded on tapes I saved from time on my PC sometimes, remembering how it was good for mind to be limited with a 3Mhz - 48KB. |

Bonjour, le travail soumis n'est pas r�gulier et vient par vague (la derni�re a commenc� vers le 25 octobre et s'est termin�e il y a quelques jours), il faut donc laisser le projet tourner en continue jusqu'� ce qu'une autre tourn�e soit soumise. Important, l'adresse du serveur a chang�, peut �tre as tu encore l'ancienne adresse, si oui, il faut se d�tacher du projet puis rejoindre � nouveau le projet. Le travail effectu� par le projet est surtout - pour l'instant - une aide � la mise au point pour la construction du LHC, il est pr�vu qu'il �volue par la suite pour - la mise au point d'exp�rience, le traitement des quelques PetaOctets de donn�es fournis par le colisionneur, ... -, le fait que la construction du LHC ne soit pas termin�e est donc sans rapport avec le fait d'avoir ou non du travail. |
