Out of work?

Posted 25 Jul 2013 by PG01 Post: Well hopefully we'll get some info since they're putting up so many. Shame there's no screensaver though, it was always my favourite. |

LHC@home - Good or Bad
(Message 22726)
Posted 6 Apr 2011 by PG01 Post: I haven\'t recieved any work in over a year but it\'s obviously very difficult to translate any meaningful tests for LHC to a platform we can run. Maybe CERN could send over specific datasets that they might want analysed in a more obscure way, or older sets that may still harbour some secrets they weren\'t looking for. I\'m only guessing at what is possible though. |

Posted 2 Nov 2009 by PG01 Post: What is it exactly that you need to fix the issues the update is giving you? You mentioned that you can\'t do anything without a test server. Can you load the environment to any server (e.g. a web server) or does it have to be of a specific form? I don\'t know too much about this stuff, I\'m an AI programmer for a game developer. But if you have some specific needs to get the server running then there may be people still floating about in the community who can serve. |

Can't get work

Posted 24 Sep 2009 by PG01 Post: There hasn\'t been any work for a long time. And there probably won\'t be any until after the LHC is kicked into 2nd gear in november. |
