Anyone taking care of this

Posted 13 Sep 2012 by lugal 		I received a long wu yesterday (approx. 60 hours runtime) but the deadline is September 16th.

This is not feasible as my machine can do jobs only max. 12 hours a day.

Do you propose that I abort the wu?

It passed through several hands already.

I understand that a number of collegues are also waiting for WU\\\'s pending to be cleared.

Not getting any WU\\\'s to work on is also an annoyance.

Is there anyone out there to give a clear answer as to what the problem might be.

However, how about the strange feature, that the time estimated for processing the wu is counting up for hours ?

Any ideas, or should I simply ignore it?

it so happens that I downloded wu\\\\\\\'s several times, but all of them crashed immediately at the moment I wanted to have a look at the graphics.

Yesterday I tried agn and the file came in with an expected timespan of some 3 hours. I let it run for about 5 hours and during that time the file counted up to some 8 hours and had clocked some 3 pct of work done.

I checked on the graphics and the wu immediately crashed agn.

I have a reasonably modern machine running 2.5 gigahertz under Vista and I pretty rarely experience such crashes when doing other projects.

What is is going wrong?
