1) Questions and Answers : Sixtrack : Connecting to LHC freeze entire system (Message 13125)

My config: WinXP Pro SP2 @ P4 3.2GHz(HT disabled), 2GB RAM
Network: 2Gbit over LAN (works fine)
Boinc 5.2.13 (but problem was on previous versions too)

When connecting to LHC server my system stucks. I can't do anything for about 10 seconds, then everything goes fine. I work on this computer, so this is quite annoying.
I don't think it's local problem becouse Einstein, ClimatePrediction and QMC works fluently.

regards - Michal

It's some situation, when two hangs took place:

I'm getting fortran error, whenever diskspace is on low. Problem is, that BOINC doesn't recognize it, until restarted.

Hm... GUI is for Graphic User Interface.
I found only icons on these screenshots. Ok, it's graphic, but not interface :)

I think, in case of LHC pretty, means true. Just don't care about fancy graphics, and made quite well visualisation of calculated things. Then it will be nice.

I'd like to keep my credits, but also it would be nice having in account inscription "Beta test: 12345 credits" or something like this.
