LHC@home

I have several machines running LHC....2 of them are slower p2 and p3 machines. How do I keep a smaller cache for those machines so the wu's dont expire?

I have faster machines with larger cache sizes but that is not a problem for these systems.

As the cache size is measured in days and not in work unit count, it will do this anyway. If a fast machine requests 3 days, it is more work than if a slow machine requests 3 days.

If you still need different settings, you can use the separate preferences of "school" and "work" to create different 3 groups of computers.

Thanks.....I put my slower machines on a "work" schedule of 3 days, and left my faster machines on a "home" 5 day schedule.
