Dear LHC@home users This screen saver (LHC@home and only this!!!) drives me crazy!!! I have to kill the screen saver part nearly every time. It doesn't react on the keys (shift, control or alt) and also not on the mouse moves. The problem is that if the LHC@home screen saver is active and I want to use my laptop (W2K, SP4) I have to kill the LHC@home screen saver before I can use my laptop. As soon as the screen will be locked automaticaly (on my XP laptop it works like this) I can use the laptop after about 2 minutes. Please search for a solution about this problem. Regards Rolf |

Just deactivate the LHC Screensaver and choose a windows one. This is at the moment the best solution. imho: The screensaver is just for fun because it takes a lot of power from computing. |

Yes there is only one Screensaver in the Windows Settings tab. If you deactivate this you deactivate it for all projects. |
