LHC@home

Hi, every time I see, that there is new chance to create an account at this project, I am trying several times to create one. But that e-mail �LHC@home new account confirmation� doesn�t arrive. I talked with the administrator of my e-mail box and he told me, that cern.ch has a problem with SMTP server, because it doesn�t know, where mx server of my e-mail is. I don�t understand this, but he does.

Please, help me. I am used to use my address ostruvek@poupe.net in other boinc projects and there were no problems. Only LHC@home. :-(

Hai, ik had the same problem. Making a new account and no mail. Bij SETI@home and BOINC works it fine but by LHC@home? Not working with my Chello account. So i used my hotmail adress and what happend? I get mail. I don't get the picture also. Slupik? I wanna say make a hotmail account [if u don't have is aleady] and that seem the work fine. For me also a very strange problem.

Thanks for your answer. I created one account to be able to post my questions here. But I want to use my address ostruvek@poupe.net here and it�s not working. I don�t want to switch my addresses, because of a bad configuration of some LHC@home SMTP mail server... :-(

Your welkom m8, i have also tryed when i had make the account change the hotmail account to my normaly Chello account but thats also NOT working. I have no idea why this is and i don't believe that there is a smpt problem. But still i don't get the picture why we can't use our mail account we want :'(
