SETI have released the latest BOINC client which implements some extra client side management features and resolves some file upload/download problems, amongst other things.

Download it here

But if you check SETIBOINC forum, you will see many more new problems with all WIN OSes, mine puters included. I tried and get CC locks after benchmarks as on WIN98 and CC 4.05. But this time also on WIN2K SP4 and WIN XPPRO SP1. So I will stick with CC 4.09 till next stable version.

Perhaps I forgot to say that LHC and CPDN are working fine, separate or combined but as soon as SETI is attached in any combination and try to connect to server CC jumps to 100% CPU and locks.

4.13 is on the official SETI download page, now. On that note, I ran 4.12 for 22 hours on XPsp2 and it ran fine.

You'd think they'd let people test it long enough to actually complete a work unit to verify the client CAN return work units.

Imagine if Climateprediction had that issue..
"um.. yeah.. that work unit you've been working on for the last 3 months... it didn't upload.. try again, sorry."
