My Pc. GenuineIntel 998MHz Pentium ,Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional Edition, Service Pack 3,(05.00.2195.00) Memory 511.48 MB Cache 976.56 KB Swap space 1440.16 MB Total disk space 6.84 GB Free Disk Space 0.14 GB when i run Adobe premier 6.0 with my RT-2000 (Hardware for video capture), diring reender i experiment artifacts in my reenders if y am procesing some work for LHC, this does not happen with Seti unitis. Some explain to this? |

There is a known bug in the LHC@Home screensaver -- under earlier versions (pre 4.46) it leaked memory. The CERN programmers aren't certain whether they've killed that bug or not. Possibly the memory leaks are interfering with your rendering program? Possibly the LHC@Home screensaver uses your computer's graphics hardware in some other way, which interferes with your rendering program? Maybe try selecting a different screensaver for your computer, say "Flying Through Space" or something equally simple. BOINC will still process as per your settings. Don't know if that'll help, but it's worth a try. |
