10/07/04 - Update of the past week:

* The new MFold is not working. This version of the code allows us to further automatize the work on the server: now the output of MFold can be redirect to become input of CHARMM by a daemon without any user intervention. However, the changes done to the code have increased the amount of memory required per workunit (75MByte). Because we know that many of you have PCs with reduced memory (64MByte), we are not trying to change the algorithm so that even users with machines characterized by less memory can further contribute to P@H. The process is requiring some time because we have to reconsider the representation of the proteins in some phases of the computation.
* Our new server is still in DELL :-(
