Just wanted to post to let LHC peeps know that one of my machines had a Fortran error with a WU, and by closing/opening BOINC the issue was resolved.

I did lose a full 8 hours or so of crunching however.

Just a thought: If you're overclocking your Comp, please rollback to stock settings and run the LHC Client for a while and see if the problem recurrs...

I bet it doesn't because I had an overclocked PC that was doing the exact asme thing until I reset it back to stock config, and now it's working real stable and hasn't corrupted a WU in weeks....

Howdy,

Machine is not overclocked at all, running completely stock standard. I think it was just a once off, have never seen the error before or since.

Overclocking increases the probability of these errors, but is not the only reason. We have seen the error on our surely non-overclocked computers on a few occasions. Unfortunately the errors are pretty hard to reproduce.
