tried to update LHC, but always get the message: LHC@home - 2004-10-06 10:54:26 - Master file fetch failed I'm a layman, can't understand the meaning, don't know what to do. Anyone there with help or explanation? ![]() |

If you have connected before on this computer then do nothing. The server was down at that time and it will straighten itself out. If you have never connected on that computer before it still may be a server issue. However you will also need to check firewall and proxy settings to make sure BOINC can communicate. Also there may be a typo in the URL or authenticator, both are very sensitive to spaces at the begining and end. John Keck -- BOINCing since 2002/12/08 -- |
