I installed docker on windows 11 but it seems that the Linux emulation slows down my pc enormously.

Your BOINC preferences seems to be set that the tasks are constantly suspending and resuming.
Have a look at your global or local preference. Let BOINC run always 100% and reduce the # of cores to use, if you want to limit BOINC's influence.

my tower is only used for boinc. I bought it for that. I set boinc to 60% cpu usage and 100% to use all threads. At 60%, some projects like world community grid go faster than at 100%. Even at 100%, the Linux emulation on Windows brings my tower to its knees. Einstein@home calculates a unit in 20.25mn normally, I have been at 53 mn since.

60% cpu BOINC usage is causing the processes to run 3 seconds and than pause 2 seconds.
This is causing pausing and unpausing the container image every few seconds, what's very inefficient.
It's better to set CPU to 100% and reduce the number of threads to 50%.
When that runs better for you, try increasing the number of threads.

after trying, the Linux emulation for docker makes me lose about 20% of overall performance on my PC based on the computation times of other non-docker projects. It is of no interest. as much remained under linux.
