LHC and MacOSX

What's the problem here? And now no reset of credits to even the playing field? Did Steve Jobs piss the Swiss off some how? There are differences between Windows and Linux versions, and even between processors running the same OS. The compiler they're now using for SixTrack has proved to be the best cross-platform system they've found so far, but there's no version for Mac.
