Hello, for those who want to install Docker AND WSL2 , follow this guide as not all versions DOCKER work with BOINC.

Docker is not needed at LHC.

There are instructions at projects that actually require Docker

Not yet. They are testing Docker theory tasks in the closed beta https://lhcathomedev.cern.ch/lhcathome-dev/apps.php

Theory native tasks are no longer served since a few months cause the used linux version is no longer supported, thats why theory right now is virtualbox only. But that is waiting till "BOINC server" has a new release AFAIK but absolute no idea when this will happen.
