On the Project Preferences page on the website, there are options for each profile where we can select the application(s) and the total number of tasks that we want to download. Currently the number of tasks is a number 1-8 or No Limit, and it applies to all applications. On a computer that is capable of processing more than 8 tasks at a time, it would be nice if could enter a number greater than 8 up to and including unlimited. It would be really nice if we could select a number per application. For example, it would be possible to select 2 Atlas, 4 CMS and a dozen XTrack, Thanks for your consideration.

This does not change how many tasks are downloaded.

The store at least X and additional Y values control this, however there is no direct control of how many task are downloaded, it a rough estimate based upon how long the project thinks the task will take and how fast your computer is.

The only way to perform OPs request is to have separate BOINC clients on a PC each running one of the LHC apps.
