submission of new tasks is obviously paused for lengthy time :-( Haha, I just bought a Ryzen 8845HS but I'm running biomedical projects on it as long there is work available. Meanwhile I'll try to get virtualization enabled on it; you never know when it will be useful.

maybe this subproject has turned out not being successful, and has therefore been stopped, or at least paused |

maybe this subproject has turned out not being successful, and has therefore been stopped, or at least paused The thing is there was a lot of communication at the beginning, a decent flow of tasks, tweaks, testing etc. Carlo (and the rest of the team) was very responsive to all our questions and feedback. Then it all stopped, without a word. Hope Carlo is alright...

He might have created an artificial black hole and fallen into it. <kidding> Well I went sky-fishing and cast my line into that black hole and hooked him but the line I used just started stretching into another galaxy far far away.......so I had to cut my line with my LHC laser. |

Meantime works on Xtrack continues: version 0.98.5 released Does this mean that eventually there will be new work for us as well at some point? I mean it wouldn't make sense to further develop Xtrack if the project is dead.

Meantime works on Xtrack continues: version 0.98.5 released Who knows? Xtrack is the codebase of XBoinc, so the fact that the development is not dead is a good news.... Hope for some work of Xboinc, obviously |

Seem something is moving... You mentioned there was a new version in early December as well, but nothing happened since, not even a mere sign of life that project admins/scientists are at least breathing.

Hi guys, but can anyone download wu xtrack? I see that there are 3 of them on the server, but I can't seem to get even one! I also tried to reset the project, but without a solution. Yet the "Run test applications?" option is ticked in the project preferences. |

In reply to mg13 [HWU]'s message of 27 Jan 2026: Hi guys, but can anyone download wu xtrack? The subproject has been dormant for months, Carlo missing in action, no information whatsoever, just the random application update on the 13th. Those 3 tasks have been frozen there since forever.
