Certainly worse than the old sixtrack from memory. I'm not inspired much. I've got to do more analysis but if the credits are worse than running ATLAS, then I'll pass on the new Xtrack work. For me is the average credits not that far off from running Atlas native(cant run that right now cause the cvmfs install is bricked) My recent average credit have even gone up looking at the 60day average 24/25. September was the first xtrack tasks for me https://www.boincstats.com/stats/3/user/detail/480835/charts The credit new system that LHC uses is weird but is okay when it does average out over more days. If you have everything Setup for the Virtualbox/Native tasks then run them and use xtrack as backup if they dry up. xtrack as a project is great cause it is a easy way for new users to start with LHC@home. Maybe is it even possible to get LHC in BOINC competitions like the BOINC Pentathlon(would bring a lot computing power and its great to have more non Math projects in the Competition) ID: 52537 · Reply Quote
