360 WUs remaining, I guess I can keep the setting at minimum 0.5 days. Looks like I can finish all 700 WUs in time. |

You could try to upgrade to a newer version of Linux? |

I tried a few work units and thought the amount of credits was pretty crappy. Certainly worse than the old sixtrack from memory. I'm not inspired much. I've got to do more analysis but if the credits are worse than running ATLAS, then I'll pass on the new Xtrack work.

I tried a few work units and thought the amount of credits was pretty crappy. Certainly worse than the old sixtrack from memory. I'm not inspired much. For me is the average credits not that far off from running Atlas native(cant run that right now cause the cvmfs install is bricked) My recent average credit have even gone up looking at the 60day average 24/25. September was the first xtrack tasks for me https://www.boincstats.com/stats/3/user/detail/480835/charts The credit new system that LHC uses is weird but is okay when it does average out over more days. If you have everything Setup for the Virtualbox/Native tasks then run them and use xtrack as backup if they dry up. xtrack as a project is great cause it is a easy way for new users to start with LHC@home. Maybe is it even possible to get LHC in BOINC competitions like the BOINC Pentathlon(would bring a lot computing power and its great to have more non Math projects in the Competition) |

No problems here with the V0.5 WUs I received. The progress bar moved normally, and whilst they were a little tight on time (BOINC setting them to high priority for quite a while), they did complete successfully within the deadline without me doing anything special. |

I'm still receiving tasks, but only 1 by 1, when 1 terminates, there is no cache available.hm, that sounds strange. I always receive 8 tasks as per my settings. What I mean is that I only receive a task to replace another, when it ends, I never have LHC xtrack cache (I only allowed this app for now) on this host, and I have some on the other one (small, but real). Resource allowance is 100 for LHC, 0 for my backup project, and still I get some tasks for the other project, on this host, but (almost) not on the other one, which has the same setup (100 for LHC xtrack only, 0 for the same other backup project) and it seems to always get enough LHC tasks. The other host has 4 threads and the one I'm talking about has 8, not that it's making a big difference, could it sufficient so it's not lucky enough to get xtrack ? I can see there are few available tasks for xtrack indeed, but still the 4 threads host almost always manages to get some - to be honest and accurate, it got 3 tasks on the backup project on 20/10, but nothing before that (until 12/10). The 8 thread one is forced to request backup tasks very often. |

Is Xtrack going to have steady work or be like SixTrack? I would also like to know the answer to this question Once upon a time SixTrack had plenty of work it also had a cool screensaver. I am just happy that I occasionally get work from Xtrack Have A Crunching Good day |

I am just happy that I occasionally get work from Xtrack I think we are only at the beginning of the Xtrack project. As admins said, time to time, they will introduce new kinds of simulations, gpu support, etc |

You don't need WSL for Xtrack like Sixtrack, its standalone app. |

The validator seems to have skipped some completed WUs. For example, this WU has been pending since yesterday: https://lhcathome.cern.ch/lhcathome/workunit.php?wuid=237197005 |
