It seems that LHC@home requires hardware virtualization is configured exactly for it. https://lhcathome.cern.ch/lhcathome/show_host_detail.php?hostid=10876628 shows CPU does not have hardware virtualization support where is needs to show CPU has hardware virtualization support and it is enabled Until this is correct, no tasks will be sent. The problem may be in a BIOS setting or a Windows setting. Check BIOS setting VT-x (I think) is enabled for Intel and disable Core isolation/Memory integrity in Windows if your version has it. Hyper-V probably needs to be disabled for VirtualBox to work. I had this problem with a new system on Windows 11. Disabling Memory Integrity fixed it.

Mein Deutsch ist schlecht. Virtualbox (6.1.20) installed, CPU does not have hardware virtualization support is still reported for the system, so something is confused. I don't know what it is. You have already done the things that I know. There are many recommendations in the forums to use the latest version of VirtualBox. |

lhc at home dont run with win11 24 h2 I have a system running LHC@home on Windows 11 24h2. It was necessary to disable Core isolation/Memory integrity so VirtualBox could run. There are security implications. https://lhcathome.cern.ch/lhcathome/show_host_detail.php?hostid=10875081 |

maeax has https://lhcathome.cern.ch/lhcathome/show_host_detail.php?hostid=10593998 that has the same generation Intel processor as https://lhcathome.cern.ch/lhcathome/show_host_detail.php?hostid=10876628, both on Windows, but different versions and i7 versus i5. 10593998 runs LHC@home, 10876628 does not and reports CPU does not have hardware virtualization support. 10876628 has current versions of BOINC and VirtualBox. All the common problems have been addressed without result. Are there other BIOS or Windows settings that cause this? Is there some obscure Registry entry, perhaps? From forum traffic, this seems like a fairly common problem. |

On my systems this is not on. I think this is only for Hyper-V. |

Hi everybody! I bought new computer on Ryzen 9 9900X and install Windows 11. I stopped obtaining new tasks for LHC@home. I go through all this instruction in this forum and this didn't help me. I still don't have any new task. Could you help me please? I have VirtualBox, I turned on virtualisation, all settings. Thanks! |

OK, I went again step by step using chatGPT, and now it works. |
