I've completed another unit(I've done several now, no problems) and now BOINC is trying (in vain) to upload it:

LHC@home - 2004-10-03 17:21:49 - Couldn't start upload for http://lhcathome-upload1.cern.ch/scheduler/file_upload_handler: error -107

Then it backs off for a while, tries again, fails --> repeat.


Does anyone have an idea where (or what) the problem is?

Most probably it's because our server can't handle current amount of requests. We should get a new server in a few days. Until then, we are trying to get most of the current by optimizing server parameters and disabling not-so-important features.

(At the time of writing, entering message boards is disabled from the main page. Although message boards are pretty important part of the system, they generate too much database traffic and so we had to restrict access to them).
