I can't seem to get LHC@home to download and run at all.I don't see any errors.

System specs:
Asus Z790 Proart motherboard.
Windows 11 Enterprise 24H2.
VirtralBox 7.1 with extentions
Hypewrvriser disabled (Not installed)
Virteral Machine Platform disabled( mNot installed)
Memory core isolation is disabled.
Intel VT is enabled.
VMwareworkstation is not installed.
windows sandbox is not installed.

Was running on a old AMD Ryzan system no issues but upgraded the board over the weekend to the Intel one.

Asus Z790 Proart motherboard.
Have you searched on ASUS-Homepage?
Some Motherboards need time up to the newest Firmware-Upgrade.

What do you mean by that? I don't follow.

I have updated the firmware, BIOS and MEI and I keep everything updated - I'm usually on top of that.

I posted yesterday, and I just got one cryptic response.
I can't seem to get LHC@home to download and run. I don't see any errors.

System specs:
Asus Z790 Proart motherboard.
Windows 11 Enterprise 24H2.
VirtralBox 7.1 with extentions
Hypewrvriser disabled (Not installed)
Virtual Machine Platform disabled(Not installed)
Memory core isolation is disabled.
Intel VT is enabled.
VMware Workstation is not installed.
Windows sandbox is not installed.
I've reinstalled the OS from a flash drive and wiped the partition. I reinstalled BOINC and VirtualBox.
Is there anyone at LHC@home I can contact? I can't seem to get any help from the message board. All I got was a cryptic response.

I also can't get it running on the ASUS Maximus Extreme Z890 with an Intel Ultra 9 285K.
I don't know what the issue is for both systems.

I did enable Intel VT.

Message 51145 - Posted: 26 Nov 2024, 14:55:50 UTC - in response to Message 51143.

ID: 10862911 is the 13th Gen Intel.
The only error I get is that the hardware does not support virtualization.
I been in the BOIS for a while just to check things out and everything is enabled.
and Hypervisor in Windows is disabled. I even used a script to make sure it's all disabled.

It's the same with ID: 10863703 the Z890 and everything in the BIOS related to VT-D is enabled and no Hypervriser or virtual Machine Platform are enabled.
also Mem core iso is disabled for the two computers, too.

I am not sure what else to do.

Set your prefs for this Intel 13th Gen to only ONE Task for the moment,
so long you have problems with this PC.
There is unlimited and you have hundreds of faulty CMS-Tasks.

What does windows say?

In the file called C:/ProgramData/BOINC/client_state.xml check what this value says:

<p_vm_extensions_disabled>
Should be 0
