I keep getting this, but only on one of my PCs. I've reset the project to no avail.

Mon, 3/6/2024 09:54:35 AM Giving up on download of z13LDmi9vT5n9Rq4apoT9bVoABFKDmABFKDmlqFKDmR5PKDm7BRsum_EVNT.38776201._000016.pool.root.1: permanent HTTP error

This results in the task showing a download error, but when I update the project so the broken task is returned, I can't see the relevant one in my task list on the server, it doesn't seem to show up.

Can I assume this is a fault your end? If so, why is it only affecting one of my computers?

It was preventing me getting any ATLAS tasks at all until I reset the project, then the problem went away but it's slowly sneaking back.

The file does not exist on my computer and I have plenty disk space.

Seems the server isn't being told I can't get the file - I also get:

Mon, 3/6/2024 09:37:17 AM	Resent lost task z13LDmi9vT5n9Rq4apoT9bVoABFKDmABFKDmlqFKDmR5PKDm7BRsum_0

just before the download fails again.

as I wrote in the ATLAS section of this forum: resetting the project does not help, unfortunately. You need to detach and then re-attach the project.

Thanks, I'll give that a try. I did try a search for previous posts, but the search engine isn't too good in here.

Now I have a different download doing it. Perhaps this time it will only try the once?
