I have several results with pending credit that

1] I am the only one to have successfully returned and
2] are about to hit the 14 expiration date.

What happens then?

The expiration date is the time at wich we will reissue a result if we have not heard from the computer assigned to it. So we will have sent a result to you and you returned it. We also sent the same result to someone else. If they do not answer before the expiration date, we create a new result to send to someone else. This is done to prevent the case, where we send the result to someone and their machine chrashes and we can never get the result back. In any case your contribution is "safe" as soon as you have returned a result to us, unless we cannot get another machine to verify your result.

The Boinc terminology is a bit confusing, but for every WorkUnit a number of Results are created (three in our case) and sent to different hosts. The output of sixtrack is then stored in the Result and sent back to us.
