I was running a VM which failed and I needed to setup again, it was running Mint 20.3.
I have setup a new VM running Mint 21.2, I have installed Apptainer and run the CVMFS setup.
CVMFS setup probe comes back ok and when checking Apptainer it says its running.

ATLAS tasks are taking 12 cores each but the systems CPU is idle when running, so far 2 tasks are about a hour in at 9.5% each and the CPU has been idle the whole time.
THEORY tasks just flat out fail, example: https://lhcathome.cern.ch/lhcathome/result.php?resultid=401043473

Trying to figure out where I have gone wrong in the setup process, any ideas / things I can check?

I am a bit of a Linux n00b, not sure what you mean there?

I have just tried full reinstall and it's doing the same thing, probe works fine.
I also spun up a Mint 20.3 VM as well and Theory works fine there.

Just tried Ubuntu and the same thing, I feel like something in the newer versions of Ubuntu / Mint are breaking Theory but don't know Linux enough to figure out what.
