Here every day for 19 years.......not sure why.
I remember back in 2004 this seemed like it might last 5 years and then 10 years and then 15 years.......well by then how could I just stop?

So time for Year 20.......I know we have a few here still from back then but not here every day but glad they are still here too.

And even Ben Segal is still around once in a while.

OK, let's go and finalize this 20 year period. And then on to the next one!

I was hoping you would stop by Ben since you were here the entire time including our original VB testing at the old Test4Theory

Yes we still keep getting youngsters here and now with incredible Xenon's and Threadrippers
I still remember what we used to run here in 2004.....single cores and hardly any Ram and no video cards for the Sixtracks.

You and I are still young as we are sitting at our computers........but the we have to stand back up and get reminded that we have been on this Earth a long time and it sure would be nice if we had another 80 years just so we could see the future.

Hope all is well for you Ben and many many more years for both of us here.

Still here, too having had a couple of breaks. Only 1 host just now. I've killed at least 2 laptops and 1 desktop over the years by over-working them and another is too electrically noisy for my Amateur Radio obsession so it's idle.

Yeah, I've killed at least one Dell laptop with S@H -- I think I got through 3 replacement motherboards. Dell haven't always got their cooling solutions right first time -- and I haven't always been quick enough to sprint across the office when a CPU fan went into turbo mode!

Only laptop that I have had to retire over the decades here was an ASUS 8 core that ran non-stop for 7 years here and never moved off the table in front of me while watching tv and the problem was just that jack on the side where you plug in the power to keep the battery charged.

For some reason (well actually a bad solder I suppose) it started going dead unless I sort of moved the jack a little.

Well it became the first laptop I ever took completely apart so I know how it all works......so I soldered in a new jack and it worked about a year and it happened again and then I couldn't get it to get the power to the battery again and you know how they made that rediculous battery connection where you can't just connect a positive and negative wire to it.......so I had to retire it but took out the SSD and plugged it into one of my desktops that has also been running non stop since 2014

Back when we started in 2004 we thought a single core with 1 GB ram was a cool pc and my first one was even worse than that here.
(good to see you here Ivan)
