Hi all,

We just released a new version of the vbox app. It contains several internal improvements to handle better various error conditions and improve performance:

- New vboxwrapper version 26206
- Multiple fixes to CVMFS configuration files inside the VM to provide improved performance and reduce CVMFS-related errors
- A rewritten bootstrap script which does more checks before starting tasks and provides much better error reporting in case of problems

These have have all been thoroughly tested on the development server.

A huge thanks to computezrmle who provided most of the fixes and improvements in this version.

Running well with Squid 5.5 on Threadripper 3995.
FYI: Yellow triangle for old 202.vdi. Have deleted manual.

Externe-IP correct (ISP), but
some Computer have a wrong local-IP (for example 192.168.yy.xx) in https://lhcathome.cern.ch/lhcathome/hosts_user.php
Have nothing changed from my side.

These have been running smoothly for me. The improved start up time is really nice in combination with squid.

I got one of these on my iMac but failure (with a long log) and I think nothing is calculating : do you know why ?

Oh well, now it's working.

Not working well at all actually : only 2 tasks did complete with actual calculation performed, all the others ran for hours using 0% CPU (the worst : more than 13 hours before I found it), I just cancelled the latest after 6 hours and no CPU usage. Even one theory simulation started the same way (I could see it was not using CPU) and then crashed by itself.

No more work for me...
