Hello. I would like to report a possible memory leak in the new 4.46 version. I have only had the problem once and did not get any error codes. Here was the situation. I had 1 firefox browser tab open with information i was reading offline (dialup) and my screensaver came on (LHC at 95+%) while I was talking to my brother. It finished wu v64lhc1000pro32s6_8548.69_1_sixvf_115441_0_0 and after the boinc no graphics applications running message came on twice as the measuring performance message was on screen it finally started a new wu v64lhc1000pro32s6_8548.6_1_sixvf_115440_0. The problem is when I wanted to resume reading my webpage, I moved the mouse and I heard the windows error beep and the LHC screensaver locked up. I had mouse movement but could not get to the desktop. ctrl-alt-del did nothing and the windows key did nothing. I had to hard reboot by turning off computer and restarting. When I did this everything appears to be OK. It has resumed the workunit with no errors that I can tell. I also checked my event viewer logs and nothing out of the ordinary there either. My computer specs are HP nx9010 laptop 384MB RAM (64 to video card leaving 320) WinXP Home SP2 and using BOINC 4.11 (I cheated... couldn't wait). Hope this helped.
