Woke up this morning and found a new project in BOINC. I can't run it, don't want to run it but it was there.

Looks like I have an old account from another life but why is it showing up out of nowhere? It won't run because I don't have virtualbox on my Mac. Why can't I remove it? The remove button is grayed out.

Oh, and now it's disappeared as I type this message. What gives, guys?

Have you joined Science United? That would explain what you see. Science United controls the projects that you run, not you.

LHC has also subproject sixtrack that don't require VM, but it is currently out of tasks as you can see on Server Status page.
