I have had a curious experience that someone else might have also experienced. My communcication speeds to the Internet are usually quite good, easily 5 Mpbs on all my machines. But recently, due to a problem with a powerline adapter, the speeds dropped to 50 kpbs for two of my machines.

When running CMS on an i7-9700, my run times lengthened from about 13 to 14 hours to the limit of 18 hours.
When running native ATLAS on a Ryzen 2600 (two cores), the run times lengthened from 5.5 hours to around 9 hours.

I think the work units need to communicate with the server, and this seems to have caused the increase.
Now that the network adapter is fixed, the times are back to normal.
