Hello, I see that progress is very slow and CPU is mostly idle, here is my statistic: Application Theory Simulation 300.06 (vbox64_theory) Name Theory_2390-1140451-16 State Running Received 6/9/2020 3:27:02 PM Report deadline 6/19/2020 3:27:01 PM Estimated computation size 3,600 GFLOPs CPU time 00:43:35 CPU time since checkpoint --- Elapsed time 1d 23:51:13 Estimated time remaining 7d 23:44:50 Fraction done 19.972% Virtual memory size 54.68 MB Working set size 667.57 MB Directory slots/2 Process ID 3968 Progress rate 0.360% per hour Executable vboxwrapper_26198ab7_windows_x86_64.exe After "1d 23:43:51" i have only "00:43:31" CPU time. I see that CPU is busy around 2-3% in task manager. Limits are set to 25% but i have 8 logical cores. Clicking on "Show graphics" leads to "Scientific Linux Test Page". Other boinc projects can consume CPU w/o problems. |

2020-06-11 11:04:07 (9384): Guest Log: 11:03:08 +03 +03:00 2020-06-11: cranky: [ERROR] 'cvmfs_config probe sft.cern.ch' failed https://lhcathome.cern.ch/lhcathome/result.php?resultid=276924947 It looks like you suspended and restarted them several times and then did not get the OK on the next CVMFS probe that is required to actually run a Valid task. And at times depending on your isp it will be running too slow to do that so it will be called a Failed connection. ( I also see you don't have the VB extension pack installed and some say it isn't needed but I always do that on mine so my only problem is always internet speed) You also should update Boinc to version 7.16.7 and even at 1.0Mbps it is taking all day for this to be posted |
