Hello,

I joined LHC@home yesterday and it seems to work (WinXP SP2, BOINC 4.09). After I attached the LHC-Project the boinc client ignores my preferences I adjusted on the web. Running LHC and SETI needs two much cputime so I deceided to let boinc run at work only in the night but, as I said, BOINC doesn't care about this prefs.

Have you set any venue specific preferences? There is a bug that will cause this preference to be ignored if any venue specific items are defined.

Yes I did. For home and work.

Is this a bug of sixtrack or boinc? Can give me the bug number or a link to the bug db?

It is a BOINC bug. I found the task where they fixed the server side problem. I don't see a listing for the client side part of the problem though.

So someone should send a bugreport I think.
