CMS jobs all fail. No other jobs load when I turn those off.

Tell me please why LHC values the MIPS volunteered it? Tell me when real work might be available again? Because there are others who appreciate the MIPS offered and provide apps that fail seldom to never.

Best physics shop in the world? Show it with work or good bye, others appreciate what my machine offers.

Seems you had particularly bad luck when the server outage hit last week, see https://lhcathome.cern.ch/lhcathome/forum_thread.php?id=5280&postid=41331#41331

Did you make any changes then that should possibly be reversed?

Just did an update.
52 LHC@home 2/4/2020 10:50:49 AM No tasks are available for ATLAS Simulation
51 LHC@home 2/4/2020 10:50:49 AM No tasks are available for Theory Simulation
50 LHC@home 2/4/2020 10:50:49 AM No tasks are available for sixtracktest
49 LHC@home 2/4/2020 10:50:49 AM No tasks are available for SixTrack

49 and 50 are correct while 51 and 52 are false per the server status page here. I have CMS turned off until it’s fixed. Guess LHC doesn’t appreciate what we offer them.

Problems happen, everyone understands that. But, failing to take ownership and reflecting back on volunteers who think highly of this project and are trying to contribute is unfortunate.
The posts are correct, there are other projects who seem to value volunteers and that is the place to go.

It happens all the time to me. The best answer I have seen is from Ivan:

This project does heavy-duty computations, but it is not really set up for BOINC and the home user as their primary computing resource. Rather, they use large computing centers all over the world that do not use BOINC at all.

They do what they can, but it is a very complex operation. We have to live with it, or leave. (The remarkable part is that it sometimes works.)

It is true that the LHC experiment applications require more than the average volunteer computing project. But our default SixTrack application is much more lightweight.

When Sixtrack tasks starts flowing again, your contributions will be much appreciated. As indicated in this post by Alessio we shall soon get more Sixtrack jobs.

Thanks for your contributions to LHC@home and happy chrunching!
