Hi, I am new to LHC@Home, but not to BOINC. Some of the LHC@HOME projects that I have on my computer are saying "Postponed: VM job unmanageable, restarting later. (8 CPUs)." I got my computer delivered on 8/12/2019 (2 days ago) so I don't know why I am getting this message in the status column. I have an Intel i9-9900, an NVIDIA RTX 2080 Ti, and 32 GB's of RAM. I haven't gotten this message with any other project and my event log doesn't provide any thing that I can add here since it doesn't go back that far since I run other projects 24/7. Any help would be great. Thanks. Michael |

Welcome, Michael, This is most often caused by the Atlas tasks overstretching the host's resourses. Sixtracks are gentle and easy to run but Atlas tasks need A LOT of memory and need a bit more initial intervension than other attach-and-go projects. Have a look through Yeti's Checklist Version 3, pinned at the top of this board. It gives good advice on how to set up and run these successfully. |

Hi, Thanks for your response. I figured out what was wrong. There were invalid settings in the VirtualBox program. I corrected the settings and now the LHC@Home workunits are now running with no problems. The video memory was set too low on my computer. I increased the amount now. Thanks again for your response. |
