Something is running very wrong over there, and obvioulsly they don't have the experts to get that fixed.

Erich,
please more respect for the Cern-IT and project-Teams!
+1

Critical and objective feedback is always good and welcome, but everyone here who is part of LHC@home should keep in mind before raging and complaining that this is a part of a huge research project, there will always be some things that won't work perfectly, break or something else. The entire infrastructure is not trivial, the admins here most probably also have other additional stuff to do, ...

It is certainly a big job, and my hat off to the staff. But the problem may be the science; they may be between projects, or trying to figure out their next step.

In fact, I wonder what is the prognosis for the advanced Hadron collider (or whatever they are calling it). Is it on track, so to speak?

It looks like we are starting tuesday with lots of "no sub tasks"
I looked around and see over 100 so far.

in fact, for a few hours, there have not been any new tasks.

So, at this point, from all the LHC projects, only ATLAS is up, all others are down.
Too bad that on 3 of my machines I cannot crunch ATLAS, due to RAM restrictions.

right now, same situation as before: the latest tasks errored out due to lack of jobs.
And at this point: no tasks.

so, there are new tasks now, but they all error out with: 206 (0x000000CE) EXIT_INIT_FAILURE

What's the problem?

The was a server problem this morning. The machine was rebooted but some new tasks may fail in the short term.
