Hi
What are the school and work preferences?
Other question: Does BOINC wakes up my computer if that one is in standby?

Thanks

These "locations" or "venues" are you so you can set different preferences for different computers eg. you might want to let a slower, older computer with not much memory to only run Theory, while you may want another machine to only run the more resource-hungry Atlas. Set the preferences then set the computer's location accordingly.
I recently set one of my machines to HOME while I tinkered with how it worked best with LHCb, while leaving my other machines running Theory only as the Default location.

Boinc shouldn't wake a sleeping computer but as it runs in the background, it might stop a computer GOING to sleep.
