Well it is 2am here and I decided to get up and check to see how things are going on my hosts so I got on my laptop to see what the desktops were doing and to my surprise it said ALL of my 8-core pc's had no tasks and in fact all the stats history in my profile projects stats were deleted and all the numbers are 0

First thing I did was check another members stats to see if it was just me but sure enough the server deleted all the stats of the past.

So I go upstairs to check the three 8-cores I have for here and two had no tasks at all (I have them set to not get new tasks all the time since I check them all the time to see)

So I reloaded some of the Theory multi-cores again and seconds later the server took them all back.
Then I did it again......this time they stayed here and I watched them start up via the VM Console and so far so good.

On my 3rd host where it said on my profile stats it said it also had no tasks at all BUT this one still had 8 of the previous version of single core Theory tasks running and 8 multi-cores waiting but I decided to tell it to get new work and sure enough 7/2/2018 2:01:13 AM | LHC@home | Reporting 75 completed tasks

The server took all of those back too.

But it reloaded a new group of multi-cores too and they all started running as they should.

So now I just might fall asleep (go ahead and check your own personal host stats and see)

......goodnight

Any news from the team yet? Anything users have to do or know?

I see the same thing, all my finished tasks have disappeared from my host pages here. Only tasks still in progress are visible. Credits seem to be OK.

same here - I guess, same for everybody.

The bad thing is that all tasks in progress (from all my 5 computers) were killed. This multiplied by the total number of hosts - what a waste.

Also, the project status page is showing strange things: Zero unsent Atlas tasks right now, whereas this morning the figure was something between 2000 and 3000.

Would be great if someone from LHC could tell us what's happening.

I'm not sure what happened this morning, it's like all the running ATLAS tasks (and others) were wiped from the database. I'll get in touch with the admins to ask what happened.

This morning a procedure was run to remove all orphaned tasks. However, more results were deleted than intended and impacted some running tasks.

Is anything being done about the uploading issues? Multiple people have been saying uploads are stalling but I haven't heard anything from project admins other then "it works for us". I have 30+ results that won't upload, keep getting a project backoff message.

I've lost two running Atlas tasks, one on the Linux laptop and the other on the Linux WS. Strangely enough, the laptop was going faster. Now I have two SixTrack tasks on the laptop, the WS is running both GPU and CPU GPUGRID tasks.

The validation pending WU's were zeroed so credit that would have been coming was lost. I just put all my computers on this yesterday so had a lot pending.

Is it possible to delete the download-Error Tasks in the database?
