Once again.......

Getting ready to make the trip to town for a doc appointment so I figured I better check the computers.

This time two of my 8-core machines were just sitting there doing nothing and waiting for me to type in the PIN

I usually get the warning and a couple days to do that reboot but not this time.

Most of the tasks started back up where they were stopped but as usual a few did not.

So once again back to work here...........and I guess this is how the weather got named "driving rain" because it is.....and I am.....

Well as always I check my computers to make sure they are running and have plenty of work......

First thing I find is my 8-core laptop wanting to reboot with another Windows 10 Update

So I suspend the tasks and no big deal since it only runs Sixtrack now and they always restart without any problem.

BUT that means I better expect the other 5 pc's that I have running 10.....and sure enough 3 are ready to reboot and the other 2 had not got the download yet so I did the good old check for updates and sure enough they started getting these.

They finally did an update so we can change the reboot times a little better so they don't just do it when they want and make them all sit there since you have to give the password or the PIN

And my oldest one has to do a F1 reboot so I have to be there holding a keyboard (it is the twin 3-core that used to be XP Pro and its twin and former T4T aka vLHC I saved running XP Pro X86 for a reason I won't mention)

And for once it looks like 4 of them rebooted and none of the running VB tasks crashed......but 2 more have not got that far yet so I won't know until tomorrow.

Of course the other 3 are running Win7 and the one with XP Pro so I only do updates and reboots when I feel like doing that.

1:14am........time to go watch Alfred Hitchcock (I missed Twilight Zone doing this)
(not checking for typos this time)
