my computer has downloaded around 100 tasks titled wTestNew_hl13B1, they have downloaded with 00:03:01 runtime but end up having a run time of almost 9 hours each, i normally only keep a small buffer on my computer.

i am happy to leave them running but i think most will expire before my computer runs through them.

i am guessing that you these tasks have something wrong in the settings for such a large error on the run time.

Regards

Darren

For the first time a see a SixTrack task waiting for memory along an Atlas task running on one core.I have only 8 GB on that Linux box, a HP laptop running SuSE Leap 42.3.

I think they have the Virtual Memory size set wrong at ca 4GB, when they only use 3-400MB like normal. Boinc used the VM size for sechduling.

if anybody from LHC@Home reads this stuff, i ended up cancelling the units from my end, i set my buffer to 0.1 work and 0.01 additional buffer. Having work units that would take over a week to return was to much, hopefully they will be downloaded by someone who can return them quicker, especially as my computer is not on full time
