Tried running a config of all single core WU's:
2 ATLAS
8 CMS
1 LHCb
1 Theory

BOINC showed an error in the task tab, in the status column, of 'drive limit reached' before reporting a computation error after 3 seconds. There is 250GB free and BOINC preferences are set to leave at least 3GB free. 'Use no more than' percent and actual are blank.
Does the BOINC client have a bug in interpreting the drive space limits, is the reported error a misattributed error code or is there some other drive limit. such as data rates, that BOINC measures?

The drives were being thrashed fairly well as the 12 WU's were loading up.

Could you share stderr of a task that failed with this error?

BOINC source code doesn't have a string "drive limit reached" anywhere.

Could you un-hide your computers? Then we can check the WUs for error.

I had a similar issue, with the error, "Disk Limit Exceeded." If you can, check Task 158531023 on Work Unit 76138693 (https://lhcathome.cern.ch/lhcathome/workunit.php?wuid=76138693). Mine is computer 10481956. Looks like several people have attempted this WU, and none have succeeded so far.

Nothing simple that you can do the project team set rac disk bound. You can edit the task to increase if you feel adventurous just multiply the number by 10 after closing Boinc and restart

This is the error I received. (it doesn't say Disk Usage Limit Exceeded but Disk Limit Exceeded which was confusing seeing the drives had 250GB free)

Only saw a glimpse of the error before the text was replaced with 'computation error'.

I had suspended the task and the error occurred upon restarting the task as HerveUAE reported here:
https://lhcathome.cern.ch/lhcathome/forum_thread.php?id=4466&postid=32662#32662

Crystal Pellet posted how to change the rsc_discbouund here:

here again (like discussed in another thread short time ago), the wording of the message received is somewhat misleading :-(
Hence, in some cases then it's not that easy for the user to recognize the real problem.
