I have issues downloading that executable too. but probably for a different reason: 9/27/2017 2:02:06 PM | LHC@home | Started download of sixtrack_win64_4630_sse2.exe 9/27/2017 2:02:07 PM | LHC@home | Incomplete read of 946.000000 < 5KB for sixtrack_win64_4630_sse2.exe - truncating 9/27/2017 2:02:07 PM | LHC@home | Finished download of sixtrack_win64_4630_sse2.exe 9/27/2017 2:02:07 PM | LHC@home | [error] File sixtrack_win64_4630_sse2.exe has wrong size: expected 9969081, got 9011683 9/27/2017 2:02:07 PM | LHC@home | [error] Checksum or signature error for sixtrack_win64_4630_sse2.exe I have tried to reset the project, but download fails every time |

Hello Helix and Nwanda? Does the failure happen only with SixTrack on LHC@Home or do you have similar problems with other apps? Thanks, |

In my case, the machine had trouble downloading an 80MB executable for GPUGRID two weeks ago, but deleting that file and resting the project solved the issue. It is possible that my network admin has introduced something new recently and it is interfering. But I have not had issue downloading LHC@home executables on two other machines on the same network, so that seemed unlikely to me. If the problem is on my side, don't sweat it. I just wanted to let you know of the issue. |
