Well as far is SixTrack is concerned we are simulating the LHC accelerator, not an experiment.
We are actually simulating the next upgrade to a High Luminosity version.
(The accuracy of results from previous years have been confirmed in
actual operation.) You do remind me that we are still missing references
on the LHC@home Web pages where there should be several papers acknowledging your
contributions.

The experiments are I believe simulating events used to produce statistics for comparison with actual data from the LHC.

Thank you, that is interesting and motivating. I am not at a level to understand a detailed explanation, but that much at least is useful to know, along with anything else that you think might be appropriate.
