Hi,

is it just me or do I get much less boinc credits on lhc@home than on other projects like world community grid?

Regards
Raimund

Here's some comparison: https://boincstats.com/en/stats/-1/cpcs I don't know how that is made, but to me it seems that LHC does actually give less credit per CPU hour as many of the other projects.

RaimundD,

Just to make sure you know, WCG takes the BOINC points and multiplies them by 7 to get WCG points. If you want to know how many BOINC points you get at WCG, you can check one of the accumulator web sites like boincstats.

Hi,

maybe I give my numbers to show how I see it. I have set lhc@home to get 33% of my resources and WCG only 22%. But if I look at boincstats (https://boincstats.com/en/stats/-1/user/detail/100629/projectList) it is clear that I get way more points for WCG computing than for lhc@home.
I think that with atlas it is slightly better.

Based on credits/hour, I've always found LHC credits (at least for SixTrack) to be lower compared to most other projects.
